I finally finished Harmony. It’s been a while since my last post. Sadly, there just hasn’t been much stitching done on my part. I’ve been busy with life events and beautiful weather. I’m sure I’m not in the minority when I say I’d rather be spending my time outdoors when it’s beautiful out, as opposed to sitting inside and stitching.
Also, I’ve started a new workout program, which is taking up most (if not just about all) of my evening time.
I finally starting taking some time during lunch to complete the beading on Harmony. Overall, I think she’s just OK. I’m not raving about her, and I didn’t enjoy stitching her as much as I enjoyed stitching Rhythm. I’m not sure if it’s the fabric colour or the fabric texture. I just can’t put my finger on it, but I just don’t like her as much as I like my other projects. Maybe it’s my stitches? I know I don’t like the way the beading sits on the project. I can see too much of the thread anchoring the beads down. I think that added to the delay in completing her. I didn’t have the desire.
In any event, she’s done and she’s been submitted for framing. Stayed tuned for close-ups on tomorrow’s post.
