We have a finish!  I can’t believe I completed this in record time.  I really hunkered down during the evenings and weekends, am I’m so happy my effort paid off.

About 3/4 of the way through this project, I came across a post on Facebook, stating that the July colour for this pattern was incorrect.  Upon further reading, I found out that the February and July stones were reversed.  Honestly, I was quite deflated. I really would have preferred that the stone matched the month for my mother’s gift, but I really don’t think she’s going to mind (or even know for that matter).  I truly believe she will be stunned and happy when she sees her gift.  I can’t wait to give it to her.

I think I mentioned in a previous post, I picked this one up and set it aside so many times, I didn’t think I’d ever get my stitchy bug back and get it done.

Stay tuned for my framing follow-up post.

  1. This one is on my list for my Grand daughter at some point. She is an April baby, I’ve done the letter C for her name, want to do her pixies flower fairy then this one.
